Texas Word'Em is a free online multiplayer word game that blends the vocabulary challenge of classic word games with the strategic depth of Texas Hold'em poker. Instead of playing cards, you play with letters. Instead of building a poker hand, you build the highest-scoring word you can.

Each round, every player is dealt 5 secret letters that only they can see — just like a poker hand. Then, 5 shared community letters are placed on the table for everyone to use. Your goal is to combine your secret letters with the shared letters to spell the highest-scoring word possible.
Just like Texas Hold'em poker, the game features multiple betting rounds as the shared letters are revealed:
Each letter has a point value based on how common it is in English, similar to Scrabble. Common letters like A, E, and I are worth 1 point, while rare letters like Q and Z are worth 10 points. Your word score is the sum of all letter values in your word.

Each round, a Power Card is revealed that applies a bonus to every player's score. Power Cards can completely change who wins the pot:
The full Texas Word'Em experience with poker-style betting rounds. Raise, call, or fold each round. Bluff with bad letters to steal the pot, or slow-play a strong hand to maximize your winnings. The best word takes the whole pot — but only if you stay in the game long enough to show it.
All the word-building fun without the betting pressure. Every player builds their best word, and the highest score wins the round. No coins at stake, no bluffing — just vocabulary skill. The lowest-scoring word each round scores 0 and receives a −10 penalty, so sometimes folding is the smart move even without betting.
A new challenge every day with a fixed set of letters. Compete for the best score and see how you rank against other players worldwide. Each daily challenge uses the same letters for everyone, so it's a pure test of word-building skill.
Texas Word'Em is designed for multiplayer. Create a private room and share the code with friends, or jump into a game against random opponents. You can add AI bots to fill empty seats. Up to 5 players can compete in a single game.
As you play, you earn experience points and level up. Leveling up unlocks new themed tables with higher buy-ins and bigger prize pots. Tables range from the casual Backyard BBQ to the high-stakes Monte Carlo. Each table has its own visual theme and buy-in level.
You also earn coins by playing — win the pot, place in the top standings, or complete daily challenges. Coins are used to buy into games at different table levels. Optional coin purchases are available but never required — everything is earnable through gameplay.
Compete for the top spot on global leaderboards. Track your wins, best words, highest scores, and see how you rank against players around the world. Leaderboards reset periodically to give everyone a fresh chance at the top.
